Can give the mechanics info who rebuilt it and installed the hour meter. The only modifications we did is update the glow plugs for reliability and installed a new custom fitted oil drip pan. Fires up first try, every time. Brand new transmission. The previous owner had pulled the trans for repairs, I just replaced it entirely with a new one. Shift knobs and throttle from cockpit move like new without issue. All new electrical wiring and panel. While the engine was being rebuilt, I hired a professional marine electrician to run all new electrical throughout the ship. All lines are new and a few cabin lights were added in addition to the TV mounted on the bulkhead. New inverter, 2021. Dual bilge pumps, brand new 2021. Everyone knows a good bilge pump is crucial to any ship. When I replaced the existing bilge, I added an extra pump directly above the standard pump as added security. Both are in excellent working condition. All new upholstery. Not just cushion covers but completely new cushions and custom upholstery with rivets. The cockpit cushions are a darker blue than the cabin cushions. The outdoor cushions are navy and the indoor cushions are sky blue. Everything in cockpit is brand new. Compass. Gauges. Depth finder with full screen touch panel. Auto pilot. Marine power. Freshly refinished brightwork on deck teak. Brand new rigging and chainplates. The original chainplates were leaking from the deck and had some corrosion. I unstepped the mast to replace the chainplates with American made stainless steel plates and rigging was completed by master rigger in 202. While the mast was unstepped, we reinforced the baseplate for durability. Shes ready to sail around the horn now! All new hatches and windows. Beautiful restored hatches made by one of the original Cal-Jensen engineers, completed 202. Custom made diesel fuel tank on starboard side, 2021. Brand new fridge/freezer, 2023. Interior fridge remains original construction but cools and freezes better than ever. Custom made teak doors. Doors come off hinges for being under sail. For sleeping and comfort with privacy, the doors can latch shut from inside the cabin and glass slides out to allow cool breeze to flow through the cabin without compromising security.
